Thar desert is very beautiful.It is one of the best tourist places in India.There are many things to be visited in the desert but few of them are extremely beautiful.The list is quite long but few of the very important places to visit are given below:
1.Mehrangarh Fort of Jodhpur-Can be reached by Air ,Rail and Road.The nearest Airport is Jodhpur Airport(5 Kilometers).
2.Ummaid palace:-This is also known as Chhitter Palace.It was constructed as a part of femine work.
It is also known as Tajmahal of western Rajasthan.
3.Jaisalmer Golden Fort.Located in Jaisalmer(200 Kms from Jodhpur)
4.Patwon ki haveliayan-Jaisalmer
5.Kiradu Temple-Near Barmer
6.Nakoda Jain Temples-Nakoda
7.Asotra Brahma Temple-Asotra
8.Jasol Ma Temple-Jasol
9.Khed Temple-Balotra
10.Devka Sun Temple.
